Pie Magnet + Car = Ice Cream

Congratulations to all of our winners!

Ice Cream Giveaway Details

Put a pie chart magnet on your car and win free ice cream for a year!

Have you checked your mailbox lately? You probably received two free Priorities pie chart car magnets!

The pie chart represents the Federal Discretionary Budget. The red part shows the bloated Pentagon budget. It's more than half of the discretionary budget! The tiny slices that make up the rest of the pie chart are all of the federal government's programs and services like health care, education, job training, veterans benefits, and more.

The dotted line shows 15% of the Pentagon budget that is wasted every year on unneeded and outdated Cold War-era weapons and excessive nuclear weapons. That's the part the Priorities campaign wants to shift toward unmet social needs such as health care and education.

Here's where you come in: get the Priorities pie on your car and you can win a year's supply of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream! Our president, Ben Cohen, is co-founder of Ben & Jerry's. He wants you to take the Priorities message to the streets of Iowa by putting the pie chart on your ride.

Free Ben & Jerry's, just for putting our magnet on your car? That's right.

Putting the Priorities pie on your car builds visibility for Sensible Priorities and it gives you a shot at 12 months of frozen indulgence.

Just slap a magnet on your ride and from now until the end of the year, our staff and drivers will be looking for magnets on vehicles as we travel around Iowa.

Be on the look-out for Priorities staffers in your town! They might just award you a year's worth of free ice cream.
