The Alliance for Global Justice, a gathering of concerned individuals in central Iowa, promotes a patriotism that supports our fellow citizens and our national ideals; thus we remain critical of militaristic adventurism abroad and the curtailment of civil liberties at home.
Des Moines for Darfur is a diverse group of passionate people trying to make a difference for one of the world's worst humanitarian crisis of our time. We are a grassroots group that educates citizens and regularly contacts our elected officials to shed light on the crisis in Sudan.

Every Child Counts - an advocacy network - is a division of the Child & Family Policy Center. Our goal is to build a network in Iowa to make children a priority for policy action and to provide network members with advocacy tools on important child policy issues, including policy statements and positions on childrens issues, as well as conducting advocacy training. Every Child Counts concentrates on three policy priority areas - early learning and school readiness; child safety and well-being, and child-friendly tax policies.

By combining the talent, energy, activism and sense of justice of all of our affiliates, the Federation seeks to promote legislation that will enable the government to be responsive to the needs of working people and their families.
Methodist Federation for Social Action - Iowa Chapter is an independent voice for justice within Methodism since 1907. MFSA unites activists within the United Methodist Church and Iowa to take action on issues of justice, peace and liberation in the church, nation and world.
Iowa Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) is the statewide chapter of the National PSR, a non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to preserving people’s health and well being through research, education and advocacy.
The Interfaith Alliance of Iowa is a non-partisan organization that believes religion best contributes to public life when it works for reconciliation, inspires common effort, promotes concern for all people and upholds the dignity of all human beings. TIA Iowa includes people from across Iowa - Christians, Jews, Unitarian, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Sikhs, and other communities of faith. TIA Iowa is affiliated with the national TIA organization and is part of a national network of 52  local and state Alliances.

WAND was founded in 1982 as Women's Action for Nuclear Disarmament. With the end of the cold war, we became Women's Action for New Directions, and have been dedicating our energies to redirect federal budget priorities away from the military and toward human needs.
Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom was founded in 1915 during World War I, with Jane Addams as its first president. WILPF works to achieve through peaceful means world disarmament, full rights for women, racial and economic justice, an end to all forms of violence, and to establish those political, social, and psychological conditions which can assure peace, freedom, and justice for all.
